Asphalt milling is a process used to remove the top layer of a parking lot, road or any paved area. When a paved area is damaged or uneven, milling removes the enough material to create a smooth base for new asphalt to be laid.
There are 5 milling classes which were originally defined by the Asphalt Recycling and Reclaiming Association. These classes are recognized by the Federal Highway Administration. Each of these milling classes defines the type of asphalt maintenance or repair to be made, and will be a part of our proposal:
